Thoughts about death from the anime series Full Metal Alchemist.
=====
Edward: We talked about what would happen if we died, right?
Alphonse: Yeah, I said that everyone would be sad.
Ed: Um... that's a personal perspective... From a practical perspective, even if I die, the world will continue to rotate as though nothing happened.
Al: A very small existence, right?
Ed: Don't say small! *Ed hits Al's head.*
Al: Ouch!
=====
"A large flow that isn't visible to the naked eye...
Al and I are both only a small existence within that large flow.
Each one is part of the whole, but it is the cumulation of each one that makes the whole.
This world is unknowingly flowing by and obeying a great law.
By knowing that law, it can be broken down and recombined.
That is alchemy!"

***********
If you lose someone to reasons other than death, sometimes it's much easier to think of losing them to death. That way, you'll not hope for them coming back to you...
But then again, nothing is final until death... and losing hope is like succumbing to death...
They say one should never lose hope...
I hope that one day, some day and some day soon...
She'll come back to me...
And if ever she won't, hope I can accept it all with my sanity still intact...
And when all is well... I hope I'll see the reason for all these...
